It is exactly one decade ago that Gneuss Kunststofftechnik GmbH from Bad Oeynhausen, Germany, opened its branch office in São Paulo, Brazil. The establishment was due to the great success that Gneuss had achieved in South America in prior years in association with its representative offices in Brazil and Chile.

For more than 30 years Gneuss has had an outstanding reputation in Latin America as a specialist for process-constant filtration systems, precise measurement technology and innovative extrusion technology. Customers appreciate its technical solutions, individually adapted to their requirements, the enormous know-how of this mechanical engineering company from Germany, and the close working relationships built on trust.

Andres Grunewald has successfully led the Gneuss team in South America with great dedication for ten years. The branch in São Paulo ensures technical customer services throughout Latin America, in addition to coordinating the Gneuss office in Columbia led by Jaime Andrés Duque and the South American representative office in Argentina. Its portfolio is supplemented by services and a 24 hour delivery service for spare parts and screens, for which Rogerio Veit, AB7, is mainly responsible.

The success of the branch is reflected in its high sales figures, with more than 200 Gneuss systems now in service in Latin America. 70% of the melt filtration and extrusion systems sold are also used in PET recycling applications, particularly in sheet, fiber, strapping and pelletizing applications. They include a large number of well-known companies in Latin America.
