Piovan Group announces the opening of a new production facility for the Food & Powders division in Modena (Italy) effective from April 8, 2026.The new facility will increase production space from 5,000 to 14,000 square meters, with the possibility of further expansion, demonstrating continued investment in food automation, strengthening the Food and Powders division, and further supporting the Group’s long-term growth strategy. The facility will employ approximately 100 people, with the prospect of further workforce expansion in the years ahead. The investment will also have a significant impact on employment and innovation, with recruitment already underway to strengthen key roles across the organization, including project and site managers, sales engineers, mechanical and electronic designers, and software developers.
As a result of this investment, Piovan will further enhance its Research & Development capabilities through the creation of a newly dedicated testing room serving an important dual purpose. The space will host pilot systems, allowing customers to carry out customized trials using their own ingredients and create an environment designed to support continued investment in innovation and the development of new cutting-edge products, providing Piovan’s customers with industry-leading and innovative solutions.
