Running all through the show will be a single-stage ISBM system, an ECS SP25, which SIPA will be using to demonstrate how flexible the technology can be in production of a wide variety of containers – in this case, producing a particularly challenging small bottle. The system will run for about 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon but according to on site requests SIPA can slightly change the production time.

In line with the topics of this year’s edition of K show: Circularity, Digitalization, Climate protection, SIPA will do its part giving focus to these impulses with basically 4 areas of interest: sustainable packaging solutions, digitalization innovation, preform solutions and sustainability in terms energy savings solutions, ability to effortlessly process alternative resins or recycled PET.

On display, as well, will be a 180-cavity hot half optimized to enable the highest preform production rate in the market. A video screen will demonstrate the process of the Xactive-Cleaning for hot halves and Xvacuum-Cleaning for cold halves. These innovative features have been developed by SIPA in order to avoid the accumulation of dust generated, above all, during processing of rPET.
