Jean-Marc Galvez elected as EuPC President

The European Plastics Converters (EuPC) are pleased to announce the election of Jean-Marc Galvez as the new President of EuPC 2026-2028 , following the election held during the EuPC General Assembly 2026 on 3 June 2026. Jean-Marc Galvez is succeeding Benoit Hennaut who has been EuPC President for the last four years.

Jean-Marc Galvez serves as Chief Operating Officer at Amcor, where he leads the company's global rigids packaging division. He brings more than 35 years of international leadership experience spanning general management, sales, operations, and R&D across both private and public companies.

Mr. Galvez held a series of senior executive roles at Berry Global, Inc., most recently as President of the Consumer Packaging International Division, a position he held for nearly six years. He previously served as President of Berry's Consumer Packaging Division North America and President of HH&S EMEIA.

Before Berry Global, he served as President for Europe, Middle East, Africa & India at AVINTIV, a Blackstone company, based in Barcelona. Earlier in his career, he held general management, sales, operations, and R&D leadership roles at Dow, Merquinsa (a Lubrizol company), Monsanto, and Elf Atochem across Europe.

Having lived and worked in seven countries, Mr. Galvez brings a truly global perspective and deep expertise in driving business transformation and sustainable, profitable growth. He is a strong advocate for a diverse and circular world, guided by the belief that "We can do well by doing good."
