Since entering the PET bottle recycling business in 1988, FENC has continued to advance its circular materials technologies, transforming approximately 34 billion post-consumer PET bottles each year into high-value-added products for a wide range of applications, including food packaging, performance apparel, footwear, and industrial materials. In 2025, FENC's Production Business reduced its greenhouse gas emissions by 40% compared with 2020, while green product revenue reached NT$50.6 billion, accounting for more than 40% of Production Business revenue. FENC was also recognized with the highest “A” rating in CDP Climate Change for the second consecutive year and became the first chemical industry company in Taiwan to receive official TNFD Adopter recognition, highlighting its leadership in sustainability disclosure.
Driven by an innovative approach to business, FENC continues to leverage green technologies to advance product innovation. The company pioneered the world's first non-isocyanate polyurethane (NIPU) technology using carbon dioxide as a raw material, achieving a 58% reduction in carbon emissions compared with conventional thermoplastic polyurethane. FENC also developed a single-polyester footwear material solution that transforms textile waste into soft and high-performance polyester elastomers, earning the prestigious 2026 R&D 100 Awards.
