Officially unveiled at PRS India 2026, the new manufacturing subsidiary has been established to support from within the growth of one of the world’s most dynamic markets for plastics processing and recycling.

There are markets that follow change. And there are markets that drive it.

India is now one of the countries where the future of plastics processing and recycling is being shaped. The growth of industrial production, infrastructure investments, evolving regulations and increasing focus on the quality of recycled materials are accelerating a transformation that is set to have a global impact.

It is from this awareness that CMG India was born

On the occasion of PRS India 2026, CMG Granulators officially announces its new manufacturing subsidiary, which will begin operations in Pune in September 2026. Its goal is to directly support processors, recyclers and plant builders in developing increasingly advanced technologies for plastics processing and recycling.

The decision to invest in India represents more than just geographical expansion: it reflects CMG’s commitment to being present where new growth opportunities for the industry are taking shape.

For CMG, being a technology partner means sharing in its customers’ development journey, understanding their needs, supporting them as their production processes evolve, and developing solutions capable of generating long-term value.

The new facility will manufacture equipment based on CMG’s original design, maintaining the same technological, quality and performance standards that have made the company an international benchmark.

Local manufacturing will enable faster delivery times, greater competitiveness and an even closer presence to meet the needs of the market. Alongside manufacturing, a true centre of expertise will be established, dedicated to local design, plant engineering, technical support and business development.

A specialised team, trained directly in CMG technology, will serve as a point of reference for processors, recyclers and plant builders, providing support throughout the entire project lifecycle.

The establishment of CMG India is part of a broader vision that is now driving the company’s innovation

The new challenges of the circular economy are no longer only about the quantity of material being recycled, but above all about its quality.

This is why CMG continues to invest in the development of technologies capable of delivering homogeneous, consistent and high-performance regrind, helping to increase plant efficiency, the value of recovered material and the competitiveness of companies.

This philosophy is encapsulated in the message accompanying the company’s international communications: Not all regrind is the same.

The technologies presented at PRS India 2026 embody this vision, offering solutions that deliver tangible improvements in recycling quality, reduce energy consumption and support the industry in addressing the challenges of Compliance 2030 and the circular economy.

Giorgio Santella, CEO of CMG, states:

“We look at India from a perspective that goes beyond the idea of expanding into a new market. We consider it one of the key hubs where the future of advanced plastics recycling is being defined. Being present means actively contributing to this transformation by supporting customers with technology, expertise and a local structure capable of turning operational proximity into tangible value.

With CMG India, we are bringing an industrial approach based on innovation, regrind quality, energy efficiency and the development of tailor-made solutions for every process. We are convinced that the future of recycling depends on strong partnerships, technical continuity and an increasingly integrated presence aligned with our customers’ needs, together with the use of reliable and efficient technologies that support stable, high-quality processes.”

With CMG India, CMG is not simply opening a new manufacturing subsidiary. It is strengthening an industrial vision built on proximity to customers, technological innovation and the belief that the future of recycling can be shaped by standing alongside the markets where that future is already taking form.
