The agreement underscores both companies’ shared commitment to sustainable development and the advancement of the circular plastics economy in Southeast Asia through the integration of resources, technology, and industry expertise.
Under the terms of the LOI, the two parties will work closely on the development of A1 Plastics’ PET bottle recycling facility in Krakor District, Pursat Province, Cambodia. Boretech will provide a PET washing line, along with its technical expertise in PET recycling technologies.
According to A1 Plastics, the project officially broke ground on January 19, 2026, with a planned total investment of USD 29 million. The facility spans 45,000 square meters, of which 12,000 square meters are designated for plant construction, while the remaining land has been reserved for future expansion to support long-term growth. Upon completion, the plant will specialize in the recycling of PET beverage bottles and is expected to commence operations in the fourth quarter of 2026.
