Exclusive Insight into the new TechCenter
The IWK, Institute for Materials Technology and Plastics Processing at the OST, University of Applied Sciences of Eastern Switzerland, is pleased to invite all participants of PETnology Europe 2025 to visit their institute after the presentation programme on 28 May 2025.
Agenda
Prof. Frank Ehrig, the institution Director, will introduce the IWK.
In small groups, participants will see the various technologies in the Machine-Techpark, such as compounding, extrusion, injection molding, joining technology, simulation, design and additive manufacturing.
14:00 Departure with shuttle buses from the venue to IWK machine park
14:15 Reception at the IWK machine park
14:30 Brief tour of the machine park
15:45 Wrap-up at the machine park
16:15 Shuttle bus back to the venue/ main station Rapperswil-Jona
14:15 Groups of around 10 participants will be introduced to the TechCentre and given a brief tour of the Otto Hofstetter AG factory.
16:45 Wrap-up at the TechCentre
17:00 Shuttle bus to Zurich or back to the venue
