PLAST'09: viscotec and recycling technology present latest advances

recycling technology and viscotec, both divisions of Starlinger & Co GmbH, Vienna, will give an overview of  their product portfolio at PLAST'09/Milano in cooperation with companies SML and Maplan from Starlinger Group as well: Hall 24, booth C04. Starlinger viscotec offers the solid stating line viscoSTAR in two different sizes, which has already found considerable market acclaim. The SSP reactor can be used following an extruder with pelletising but is suitable for IV enhancement of virgin PET inline in front of production lines, or offline for recycled or virgin PET or for decontamination and viscosity increase of PET flakes as well. On view this year at PLAST'09 in Milano will be the recently launched viscotec decontamination dryer deCON 40  for the production of dry, food grade flakes directly in front of the production extruder.Starlinger recycling technology offers a spectrum of innovative machinery solutions for the efficient recycling of a variety of plastics, such as PE, PP, PA, PS, PET, and many more. Last year recycling technology launched the new line recoSTAR direct which is designed for heavy regrind materials (> 300 g/l). recoSTAR direct can handle all types of thermoplastics ranging from polypropylene (PP) to polycarbonate (PC) if suitable for feeding directly into the extruder without a pre-drying process.Whether film, fibres, filaments, nonwovens, tapes, sheets, injection moulding parts, PET-preforms or bottles, whether inhouse waste during production or post-industrial and post-consumer waste: Starlinger’s recycling technology offers for each application the right system from a wide range of products.The whole product range of Starlinger’s recoSTAR recycling lines covers - depending on machine model - an output range of 30 up to 2.000 kg/h.
