De Linares brings a strong focus on operational excellence with more than 17 years of experience in leadership roles at TotalEnergies. Originally from France, he concluded is studies in process engineering from Ecole des Mines de Paris in 1997 after graduating from the French Ecole Polytechnique with a degree in engineering.
De Linares’ predecessor Simon Goldney, who oversaw the plant's development and first five years of production, will continue his career at TotalEnergies.

We thank Simon for his exceptional leadership in the successful launch and ongoing management of our 75kT/year plant in Thailand.
