TOMRA Collection unveils first TriSort reverse vending machine in its Basic Line series

TOMRA Collection has announced the launch of TOMRA B7, the first TriSort reverse vending machine (accepting up to three container types) in its Basic Line. The first machine in the line, TOMRA B7 Combi SoftDrop is designed to make drink container recycling more accessible and efficient for small businesses and markets new to deposit return schemes (DRSs). The new machine is the latest addition to TOMRA Collection’s line of compact, innovative and affordable RVMs. 

Innovative features and benefits 

The TOMRA B7 reverse vending machine (RVM) can accept up to three types of containers, including PET, cans, glass bottles, and refillable bottles. With a footprint of just 1.3 sqm, TOMRA B7 is designed to fit seamlessly into any retail environment. A large 21.5” touch display provides intuitive user guidance, with video and sound capabilities for an engaging recycling experience.

Powered by TOMRA Essential Technology™, the machine offers container recognition, weight detection, metal detection, 360° barcode reading, and 2D barcode reading, ensuring precise and secure processing of returned beverage containers.

Enhanced customer experience 

TOMRA B7 is designed to offer a seamless and engaging recycling journey. Simple on-screen instructions and a customizable graphical user interface ensure that users can easily navigate the recycling process. The machine's plug-and-play functionality allows retailers to start recycling operations with minimal set-up time.
