The prize – a one-module optical sorter – includes free delivery and commissioning, made possible by the support of Bühler’s global team of experts.
The lottery attracted hundreds of entrants from over 50 countries and Bernhard Gabauer, Head of Plastics Segment at Bühler, made the draw at K 2019, the world’s number one trade fair for plastics and rubber, which took place in Düsseldorf (16-23 October).

The SORTEX B MultiVision is available with up to seven chutes and can be used for PET, HDPE, uPVC, pellets and ELV and WEEE. Bühler's proprietary color cameras uses up to three wavelengths to provide excellent color sorting and foreign material detection.
Bühler's portfiolio of sorters also includes the SORTEX E PolyVision, which can detect and remove same-color polymer contaminants [PVC, PP and PE]. It also reduces the percentage of other polymers, such as PS, PA (nylon), POM flakes and silicon.
