Resilux acquires PET recycling activity “Poly Recycling” in Switzerland

Resilux NV entered into an agreement, via its newly established Swiss subsidiary, with Signode Industrial Group, following which the latter transfers its PET recycling activities located at Weinfelden (Switzerland) – known in the market as “Poly Recycling” – to Resilux.

Pursuant to this transfer, Resilux acquires the business activities in Weinfelden, including all 35 employees, the assets and the existing contracts with customers and suppliers. The Poly Recycling activities shall continue to be conducted under the operational management of the present General Manager, Casper van den Dungen, and shall be incorporated into the newly established company Poly Recycling AG, with registered seat in Weinfelden.

Following this acquisition, Resilux, in her capacity of manufacturer of PET-preforms and bottles, (i) envisages to realize a number of synergies that shall support the company’s bus iness model from a strategic point of view and (ii) extends her core business with PET recycling activities. The acquisition of Poly Recycling therefor forms a fully integrated part of the business strategy of the Resilux Group.
