The KraussMaffei Group announces a change in the management of KraussMaffei Extrusion (KME): Effective September 1, 2026, Ren Xinting will assume the role of Managing Director at KraussMaffei Extrusion in addition to his role as Managing Director of KraussMaffei China (KMCN).
Ralf Benack, who as Managing Director of KraussMaffei Extrusion has played a decisive role in shaping the company’s further development since 2024, will step down at his own request effective August 31, 2026.
Customer Focus, Shorter Delivery Times, and New Technologies
Under Ralf Benack’s leadership, KraussMaffei Extrusion has made significant progress in customer focus, operational efficiency, and technological advancement. This includes a noticeable reduction in delivery times, the consistent expansion of the Technology Center in Laatzen – which features 26 testing lines – and the expansion of the technology portfolio.
“Ralf Benack has led KraussMaffei Extrusion with great integrity, clarity, and personal commitment. He has been a strong advocate for the extrusion business, and has driven operational improvements as well as the company’s technological development. On behalf of the entire Executive Board, I would like to express my sincere thanks to him and wish him all the best for the future,” said Alex Li, CEO of the KraussMaffei Group.
“It is with great pleasure that I look back on what we have achieved together in the extrusion sector, and I thank every one of the KME colleagues for the trust, passion, dedication, and outstanding collaboration along the way. KME is technologically strong and has an exceptional team. I wish Ren Xinting and the entire organization all the best and much success,” says Ralf Benack.
