Bonn, Germany

The requirements on extrusion blow molding machinery are challenging. Particularly in the consumer sector, packaging producers require compact machinery solutions, with a high flexibility to produce packaging in a huge range of sizes and different materials. At Chinaplas, Kautex Maschinenbau GmbH presents the KCC15D, a medium-scale blow molding machine which optimally combines all these characteristics.Efficient Machine EquipmentThe machine, which is designed as a double station, works with the latest extrusion blow-molding technology and is equipped with a six-fold die head in two layer DeCo configuration. A dedicated extruder for the outside-layer gives a constant optical picture and saves the use of Masterbatch in the overall consumption. The inside-layer can be used for the flash from the process as well as from other applications without any effect on the bottle outlook. The article conveyor system transfers the articles to a single exit point. Several additional peripheral devices are available on request, to further automate the production chain. The double station machine is suitable for all conventional blow-molding materials and consumer packaging in sizes from 50 ml to approx. five litres. During production, the articles will be checked by an automatic weight scale device, thus guaranteeing a constant quality. With a total of twelve cavities, the medium-size machine of the KCC series achieves a production rate of approx. 3,600 articles per hour.Kautex at ChinaplasVisitors to the Chinaplas international trade fair can see the performance of the KCC15D between the 17th and 20th May 2011. As a leading global company in the field of extrusion blow-molding technology, Kautex Maschinenbau will be presenting innovative machinery solutions for a huge range of applications in Hall 5.1, on Stand C41 in Guangzhou.
