Husky at Brazilplast 2011

Husky Injection Molding Systems today announced that at Brasilplast 2011 (May 9 – 13, São Paulo, Brazil) it will be showcasing its complete solutions for the medical, PET and closures markets. Located at Booth G36, Husky will be introducing, for the first time in Latin America, its H-MED AE™(all-electric) system for cleanroom medical molding. “Husky has the industry’s most extensive global service and support network, enabling us to provide our customers around the world with shorter lead times, responsive local service and unmatched support,” said Evandro Cazzaro, Husky’s Director of South America Sales. “Having opened our Brazil Technical Center in April 1999, we have established a strong presence in Latin America that has helped us to build long-standing relationships with customers. Our goal is to continue to invest in this growing market to provide the support our customers need to be competitive and expand their businesses.”Tooling solutions for quality parts at fastest cycles Husky is well-known as a leading supplier of complete hot runner systems, including temperature controllers. By providing a complete system, Husky is able to maximize efficiency, while minimizing scrap and downtime. In addition to showing UltraSync-E hot runner technology, Husky will also display its fully configurable PRONTO® hot runner systems for increased flexibility and performance, as well as its wide portfolio of nozzle sizes and gating options for a variety of part weights and resin types. Also on display will be Husky’s Altanium Neo2 temperature controllers for two to 48 zones of control. Using Active Reasoning Technology (ART), Altanium Neo2 is able to achieve the most accurate temperature control to optimize part quality and consistency, yet at an affordable price. Complete solutions for a variety of markets Running at Husky’s booth will be H-MED AE, the company’s fully electric injection molding system optimized for the specific needs of medical molding. Running a medical application live at Husky’s booth, the system includes UltraSync™-E (electric) hot runner technology, Altanium® temperature controller and Shotscope NX® process and productivity monitoring software. All functions are managed through Polaris™ Control, centralizing operation of the entire workcell. Husky will also be showcasing its complete solutions for the PET preform and closure markets. This will include beverage packaging solutions for every application and volume and solutions to help beverage packaging manufacturers be more sustainable through lightweighting initiatives and technologies for incorporating recycled flake in plastic bottles. Husky will also highlight the capabilities of its complete closure systems, including hot runners and Altanium temperature controllers, as well as a range of solutions enabling complete melt stream control, fast color change, reduced part weight and increased productivity.
