The most important international trade show dedicated to the beverage industry, China Brew & Beverage, will take place from September 7 to 10 at the China International Exhibition Centre in Beijing. This trade show is a very significant showcase for all the major technology manufacturers serving this industry. The Closures & Containers and Beverage Division will represent Sacmi at the 2010 edition of China Brew & Beverage.
The innovative CCM48S, a press for single-piece caps that can produce 1,200 caps a minute with only 48 cavities, will be displayed at stand 4503 (hall 4). This solution provided by Sacmi is currently the most competitive closure producing machine in the world for mineral water bottling, hot filling and cold aseptic filling (CAF).
The result of the experience and technological excellence matured by Sacmi over the years in the design of complete lines for producing plastic closures, the CCM48S is one of the key models in Sacmi’s press range, which is earning the respect and trust of customers all over the world. This machine is the ideal solution for managing single piece S30-14 type caps in HDPE (high density polyethylene) with diameters of 30mm and weights of only 1.9 grams.
The China Brew & Beverage trade show also provides Sacmi’s Closures & Containers Division the opportunity to show international customers the advantages compression technology can offer respecting traditional systems for producing plastic closures. These advantages naturally multiply when the technology, which provides significant advantages in and of itself, is combined with the Sacmi systems implemented for the entire CCM range, from solutions for energy saving to those that reduce cycle times, from low maintenance costs to high flexibility, especially regarding the significantly reduced time needed for changing cap color. This, along with the high reliability and quality that characterizes the entire range of Sacmi presses, translates into complete production process repeatability, reducing rejects and line stoppage to an absolute minimum.
The final advantage of the CCM range, but definitely not the least important, is the possibility of integrating it with other solutions developed by the Sacmi Group, such as innovative CVS vision systems for line quality control. In fact, Sacmi’s decision to present itself as a “sole partner” on the global beverage market, combined with its commitment to designing ever more efficient machines using less energy, has helped spread its solutions all over the world, as it provides considerable competitive advantages for operators in the industry. This is even more valid for emerging markets such as China, which is in continuous expansion, or in areas where the competition is fierce, forcing operators to invest in solutions that increase their competitiveness on the market.
