PET Technology Pavilion at China Brew & China Beverage 2008 and LiquiTek 2008 to Promote the Industry Development

Organised by Business & Industrial Trade Fairs Ltd and Reed Huayin (Shanghai) International Exhibitions Co Ltd, the 8th International Brew & Beverage Processing Technology and Equipment Exhibition for China (CHINA BREW & CHINA BEVERAGE 2008) and the International Beverage and Liquid Food Technology Exhibition for China (LIQUITEK 2008 will be held on September 24-27, 2008 at the New China International Exhibition Centre, Beijing, China. The events demonstrate the newest technologies and solutions for the beer, beverage and liquid food production, processing and packaging machinery, equipment, raw materials and ingredients, etc. To cope with the market demand, a specialized pavilion PETech is set up. Vast Market Demand The rapid development of beer, beverage and liquid food industries drives an everlasting demand for PET for packaging in Asia, particularly in China. The strong potential for PET demand is boosted by the strong growth in beverage consumption, rising disposable incomes, and health consciousness giving rise for bottled water, functional drinks, tea, fruit, vegetable juice and milk beverage, etc. All bring a bright future of the PET packaging.In China, the total production of bottles made from PET reached almost 1.7 million tonnes in 2005. In 2006, PET accounted for 60% of beverage packaging in China. At present, there is highly-potential development of PET for packaging which will enjoy an annual growth of 15% at its production level. PETech Pavilion PETech Pavilion is a mirror of the world’s vast demand for PET packaging particularly in China and Asia. Utilizing an independent hall, West Hall 1, with 15,000sqm of exhibition area at the New China International Exhibition Centre, PETech Pavilion is the first and the largest trading platform for the PET packaging technology in China for the beer, beverage and liquid food industries.
