Netstal highlights its competence in the field of PET at the Chinaplas in Shanghai (18 to 21 April 2012). On the exhibition stand of the KraussMaffei Group (in Hall E1 on Stand J 31) the Swiss manufacturer of plastic injection moulding machines shows a PET application on its perfectly established PET-LINE. Moreover, customers and visitors are given the opportunity of inspecting the production plant of the KraussMaffei Group in Haiyan on 19 and 20 April 2012. PET-LINE on the platform 3500At the Chinaplas Netstal presents the professional public a demanding PET application. The heart of the highly profitable overall system is Netstal's widely acknowledged PET-LINE, in this case based on the platform with 3500 kN clamping force covering moulds with 48 to 128 cavities. „With this high-grade machine Netstal offers an excellent solution to cope with the rising demand from the beverages and foodstuffs industry, increasingly also from the Chinese market“, explains Thomas Anderegg, Head of Marketing, Sales and Application Technology at Netstal. Numerous optimizations such as the simplified product removal and aftercooling unit or the increased injection pressure to shorten the cycle time make the PET-LINE a highly economical system solution for the production of PET preforms. The machine model on show at the Chinaplas is equipped with a 128-imp. mould of Hofstetter AG from Switzerland. Material handling and dry air for the inside of the mould are in the care of Messrs Eisbär of Austria who have developed the Drypack system especially for the PET-LINE.Stronger market appearance in the area of PET thanks to know-how bundled across locationsIn 2011 the KraussMaffei Group bundled its entire PET activities standardized under the roof of Netstal. „This step revealed to be a success and we get a very positive echo from the customers because we can offer them the ideal Netstal or KraussMaffei equipment selected from a wider product portfolio“, emphasizes Anderegg. Global marketing and sales of the highly efficient PET equipment are centrally coordinated by Netstal under the Netstal PET-LINE and KraussMaffei PETForm brands to perfectly meet the particular customer's requirements. I'm confident that this step strengthens our appearance in the market and enables our customers to draw yet more advantage from the individual pluses“, says Anderegg.Open House at the production plant in Haiyan during the ChinaplasWhile the Chinaplas is on, the KraussMaffei Group opens the gates of its production plant in Haiyan. „Within the framework of this open-house event our customers and visitors to the fair have the possibility on 19 and 20 April of gaining an insight in the performance capability and competence of the KraussMaffei Group with their strong brands KraussMaffei, KraussMaffei Berstorff and Netstal“, explains Harald Schweizer, Manager of the subsidiary of the KraussMaffei Group in China.
