  • KraussMaffei Austria founds sales alliance with the Austrian family-owned company Luger GmbH
  • Cooperation begins on 1 September

KraussMaffei Austria, a national subsidiary of the Munich-based KraussMaffei Group, is extending its sales cooperation for KraussMaffei-brand injection molding machines with the Austrian family-owned company Luger GmbH. The cooperation will start on September 1, 2020.

With the extended sales cooperation, KraussMaffei aims to significantly strengthen its market presence in Austria and Hungary. Luger GmbH is bringing its own national company in Hungary into the partnership. Luger is also currently building a modern pilot plant near Budapest.

The focus of the cooperation will initially be on injection molding technology. The KraussMaffei Group is one of the world's leading suppliers of this technology. KraussMaffei also produces machinery for extrusion and reaction processing.

Luger GmbH is an Austrian family-owned company headquartered in Purkersdorf near Vienna. Its business activities focus on the sale, project planning and servicing of machines and peripheral equipment for the plastics processing industry. Luger had previously distributed KraussMaffei machines under the Netstal brand and KraussMaffei Extrusion products.

"I'm delighted that in Luger we have a strong and competent partner with whom we can significantly expand our customer proximity in Austria and Hungary," says Tobias Daniel, KraussMaffei Group Sales Manager.
