Julia Große-Wilde, attorney at law, will be the new managing director of the Gesamtverband Kunststoffverarbeitende Industrie e. V. (GKV). Ms. Große-Wilde takes over the tasks of Dr. Oliver Möllenstädt, who is leaving the GKV on December 31, 2020 at his own request in order to concentrate on new professional tasks.
“With Ms. Große-Wilde we are gaining an experienced and well-connected association manager, lawyer and political communicator. With Ms. Große-Wilde, we will successfully master the challenges facing the plastics processing industry in maintaining a positive image of plastics in public and in representing the interests of our industry, ”said GKV President Roland Roth.
Ms. Große-Wilde commented on her new role as managing director of the GKV as follows: “I am looking forward to the new tasks in the plastics processing industry. The focus will be on accompanying the social and political debate about plastics and sustainability. "
Furthermore, GKV President Roth thanked Dr. Möllenstädt for the work that has been done so far. "We thank Dr. Möllenstädt who has been involved in the management of the GKV for more than nine years. Our association has significantly expanded its political network under his management activity, which was expressed not least in the relocation of the headquarters from Bad Homburg to Berlin in 2018. "
