Husky Injection Molding Systems wrapped up its exhibition this week at Plastindia, Southern Asia’s biggest plastics showcase. Highlighting its industry-leading line of beverage packaging solutions for PET preform manufacturing, as well as its latest innovations in hot runners and controllers, Husky’s participation in Plastindia 2015 was a great opportunity to engage with customers in growing markets.
Plastindia, held every three years, has acquired international recognition as being the region’s most significant plastics showcase, demonstrating the latest in plastics technology, innovation, processes, and products. This year Plastindia, held from February 5-10, was relocated to a new venue site, providing a convention area spread over 100,000 square meters and featuring 15 exhibition halls. The new locale served to cement the show’s position as one of the world’s largest plastics exhibitions. Husky provided an intimate customer experience for its guests, with a 200 square meter booth featuring dedicated display space for both its hot runners and controllers and beverage packaging solutions.
“Plastindia provided a great platform for us to engage with local customers and share insights regarding trends in the growing markets of the plastics industry,” said Keith Carlton, Vice President of Global Sales, Beverage Packaging for Husky. “We have a strong commitment to the success of the market here in India, with facilities in both Mumbai and Chennai, and local sales and service teams available to support the growth of our customers in this region.”
Husky holds the leading market share of high-volume PET manufacturing equipment. Serving the industry for more than 35 years, its preform injection molding workcells deliver the industry’s lowest total production costs for the widest range of applications and capacity needs, including applications requiring a barrier solution to reach the target shelf-life with a lightweight package. Husky also offers industry-leading hot runner and controller innovations, including UNIFY™ pre-assembled manifold systems, ALTANIUM MATRIX2™ hot runner and mold controllers, and its ground-breaking next generation valve gate nozzles. Its ALTANIUM® controllers are built on a software platform that allows for greater integration with other Husky products, providing a foundation to support total mold control with mold servo-controlled actuation, in addition to valve gate and temperature control.
