ENGEL establishes sales subsidiary in Turkey

1:46 min Regions
Schwertberg, Austria

In order to strengthen the market performance of ENGEL in Turkey, ENGEL established a sales subsidiary in Istanbul on 1 May 2008, thus taking into account the tremendous potential of the Turkish market. In addition to its great market importance, Turkey plays a key role in the regional environment for neighbouring countries. The well-experienced Turkish commercial agency EN-KO Makine Servis has been integrated in the new enterprise. A total of 13 employees is marketing the machines, robots and system solutions from the ENGEL production locations. An EN-KO showroom has been assimilated into the Turkish location. There, it is possible to test the machines as well as to supply them with little waiting. With the establishment of the subsidiary in Turkey, the successful work of EN-KO and of its proprietor and CEO Ali Kemat Koc – who have installed nearly 1000 injection moulding machines at Turkish customers – is being continued. The new ENGEL branch office presented itself to the public for the first time at the IPAF, which took place 1 to 4 May 2008 in Istanbul. For ENGEL customers, the transition was unnoticeable, as not only the four service technicians and the sales of spare parts were assimilated and expanded, but also sales. As is the case in all ENGEL subsidiaries throughout the world, the new subsidiary in Turkey offers an extensive range of services. These include, for example, highly qualified machine support and optimisation by service technicians, a well-equipped spare parts warehouse to provide quickly available spare parts and a room for training on location.
