Abstract

Artificial Intelligence and Polarised Light, the New Frontier of SACMI Computer Vision

Customers are demanding more sophisticated inspection performance to ensure quality and allow real-time resolution of any deviation from production standards. The solution? Computer Vision by SACMI presents this year at the K fair in Düsseldorf the first complete (patented) system for the on-line identification of abnormal stress on preforms via a combination of polarised light and advanced AI algorithms: the PVS10L.

The ultimate goal is to boost quality control, extending it from inspection of every individual product to government of the entire production process.
