Turkish customer delegation at Mold-Masters in Baden-Baden

4:00 min Preform moulds
Baden-Baden, Germany

A larger number of Turkish customers recently visited Mold-Masters production facilities in Baden-Baden, Germany. Organized by Mold-Masters' Turkish subsidiary, MMG Consulting & Engineering, a delegation of company owners and managers were invited to take a closer look on latest developments and innovations in hot runner technology.  The delivery of increased value, dedicated product solutions and encompassing services is playing a key role in today's global plastics industry. Mold-Masters therefore demonstrated how the company is providing customer centered solutions by focusing on specific needs in various markets such as closures, medical, multi-material and a large variety of technical applications. All products have been purpose engineered to provide industry leading color change and fill balance, ultra fast molding cycles, tighter pitches, lower energy consumption and new levels of reliability. The visitors from Turkey were impressed by Mold-Masters' new servicing levels along with the industry leading 10 year warranty that has been re-engineered to perfectly suit today's market requirements. Combined with the new proactive services and worldwide system and spare part availability, these developments were received as a huge customer benefit and a real value add. Önder Çakici, Production Manager at Koza[PACK] Molds & Cosmetics Packaging Manufacturers Co. commented after the event:It was our pleasure to attend the visit to Mold-Masters manufacturing plant in Germany. Having witnessed the high-end technology designed to meet the customers' high expectations, we also appreciate the warm welcome and invaluable hospitality Mold-Masters' generous management team has shown us. We feel very confident and secure to have Mold-Masters, such a strong supplier supporting us as a partner. One of the highlights in the Mold-Masters engineering center was a Master-Series Accu-Valve hot runner system with a superior color change. A comparable caps solution resulted in a color change from blue to orange in 9 shots and orange to blue in just 5 shots. This demonstration emphasized on the key role of high cavitation hot half systems and stack molds in the Mold-Masters product portfolio. The Accu-Valve system has also set a new benchmark for valve gating solutions in various market segments. Being the only resin specific valve gate solution in the industry, Accu-Valve has drawn a lot of new business in the recent years and continues to deliver high performance in almost any application.Another highlight that the Turkish delegation appreciated very much was the E-Drive system. This unique syncro plate valve pin actuation with servo motor control offers energy efficient solutions in areas where hydraulic or pneumatic actuation is not capable of delivering accurate technical specifications, i.e. for high precision or clean room applications. In addition, the new Electric Valve Gate systems provide closing forces almost two times higher than pneumatic actuators and a valve response time at 0.1 seconds. Next to the E-Drive and electric valve gate controller the visitors were also impressed by the broad range of TempMaster-Series temperature controllers that complete Mold-Masters' product portfolio. The overall presentations and demonstrations also provided detailed insight on how good temperature control can add great benefits to today's complex injection molding processes.Mold-Masters is hosting various customer in-house events as well as technology forums at various locations in Europe hroughout the year.
