BERICAP Singapore has completely moved to the modern new plant in Johor, Malaysia - the previous production in Singapore stopped beginning of December 2015.

The new BERICAP Plant will primarily produce and sell closures for the food & beverage as well as for the non-food market in the ASEAN free Trade Area, where about 550 mln people are living. However, the produced closures will be sold to more than 20 countries in Asia, Australia and EU. The new plant is designed to supply a significant amount of closures to the growing region.

This is a further step for BERICAP to push production and sales in the ASEAN Free Trade Area.

The ASEAN Free Trade Area (AFTA) is a trade bloc agreement by the Association of Southeast Asian Nations supporting local manufacturing in all ASEAN countries. ASEAN has 10 members, namely, Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar and Cambodia.
