For the construction of the plant, Morssinkhof-Rymoplast purchased the former Fehrer Automotive plant in Markranstädt. In the coming years, this plant will be converted into a processing plant with a capacity of 40,000 tonnes per year.

Stefan Morssinkhof, director of Morssinkhof-Rymoplast: “For more than 20 years, Morssinkhof-Rymoplast has been producing recycled PET granulates, which can be used entirely for the production of food packaging.

For more than 60 years we have been an important part of the chain of plastic processing companies, who together create a closed loop. Due to the increased demand for recycled PET for bottles, we have decided to invest in this factory. By buying the property in Saxony, we can further expand our capacity as a group and serve customers in this region.”
